Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
I've been seeing all the ads from CDNN for them. Zig M45 Stainless looks very nice. I would not hesitate - any of these guns made in Turkey seem to be great guns. I am sure there are many 1911 fans that will say they are "garbage" - but I bet they are good quality overall. I have several Turkish made guns and AR410 shotguns and all quality. Keep us posted if you pick one up.

The only Zenith firearms Ive handled were their H&K MP5 clones and they were fantastic.

Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
The 1911's that Zenith are selling are Tisas manufactured in Turkey ,they are actually very well made. They should be priced in the $700 dollar range ,but being that they are from Turkey they were originally selling for about $575 when Zenith brought these in along with the Girsan pistols which are also well made, they did not sell in the numbers that Zenith wanted so the dropped three lines of firearms from Turkey and will be concentrating on the roller locked MP5 series and the rifles and pistols in 5.56 and 308. Zenith sold off the three Turk lines of guns to CDNN to liquidate the remaining inventory. Just 2 months ago the 1911's were selling for $549.00 now just look at the deals that CDNN has ,those are really good prices for a 1911 with ambi safeties and 3 mags, case are nice two . I have several come through the shop already and over the summer I got to shoot the 9mm version, outstanding shooter that one was. I am thinking about 2 for me.

Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
Be careful, Zenith has dropped the 1911 product and will no longer import.

Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
The Zenith brand is actually a Tisas 1911 accepts after market 1911 parts is very well made ,ISO 9000 standards , pistol will last a long time. I would buy these models over a Rock Island any day of the week, P>S> I own Rock pistols as well. The fit and finish on these is very good, and at liquidation prices ,these are cheap very hard to pass up.

Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
I have a Tisas Zig M 1911 in stainless steel - I like this pistol a lot, and is my carry pistol quite often (I also have 2 Kimbers and a Taurus 1911) . The Zig isn't a Kimber, but is tight and shoots good groups. My only complaints were the original grips (smooth unfinished "walnut") which I traded out and the trigger which has a little uptake click which I attribute to the series 80 trigger safety disconnect - after that initial uptake it is smooth and crisp.

Re: ZENITH FIREARMS ?
While in the market for a new 45,i am cautious with Zenith now because of their not MFG them anymore which could lead to problems needing parts and such.Think i will pass on this deal !
