    I have two M16 A1ish clones. One just like the one I carried in Beirut. An all Colt kit on a converted A2 to A1 lower. The other a Colt "slick side". All Colt with the same converted lower, and the three prong weed catcher. I went on an AR retro binge a few years back. I even made a non SBR XM177 clone. I sold off most of them due to changing tastes, and need for cash.

    Found an A1 upper on the arfcom equipment exchange and receiver it Saturday. Finished my build that morning.



    Anderson lower and LPK
    Brownell's reproduction furniture
    JSE surplus had the rest of the unique parts: 20" 1:9 pencil barrel with FSP installed, 3 prong flash hider, DPMS tear drop forward assist, A1 rear sight assembly

    Some of teh Phantom flash hiders are sharp. Not as sharp as a razor though.
