    A1 upper receiver's still MIA. Makes me sad. I have everything but a stripped upper receiver.

    Check out Fulton Armory. Theirs are NDS forgings and you can get them with rear sight, FA and DC installed.

    I’m pretty sure the SP1s came with the A1 birdcage. It would be a nice touch. It’s hard to tell in the OPs photo but it does look like an A2.

    Edit...Without digging too far into it I do see some SP1s with three prong and some with A1 flash hiders so I guess any gi style besides A2 is “correct”.

    Nice. Did you go all out and get the split washer too or just a standard crush? The closest my build comes to anything authentic is the plastic and Colt open bolt carrier group.
