    Default Freakin cylinder stop spring

Springs. I almost always keep 'em under control. I almost always find 'em when I don't. Not this time. This time I did a good job.
Got one on the way via online order. Also have two extras coming along with it for a total of three. LOL

What did you have to remove that for? If you needed some rebound springs for a s&w j, k, or l frame, I have a few.

Recent acquisition. Sweet model 36 aka Chief's Special. Serial number indicates 1973.

With the plate off, it could be seen that it could use a good cleaning and re-oiling, so I disassembled down to frame.

Wow! You're close by. I'll PM you. Thanks. I'll happily take a J frame type, and when I get the ones I ordered, you'll get two back :-)

And this is why I still come here after all these years.....Maybe I'll add this into the what me smile today thread. At any rate, I always order a few of anything I have lost. Good habit to get into. Detent balls come to mind...

The cardboard box is your friend when dealing with springs.

Ziplock baggie, there's a spot in my carpet that springs fly to to die. Lol.
