    A while back, a horse farm owner basically begged for ground hog control, because horses and chuck holes are a bad combination. Had to abide by a bunch of rules to keep the horses happy, but FWIW that is one angle to consider.

    Groundhogs are why horse owners have Jack Russells. Cow farms not so much. Cows tread softly. Might want to talk to the horse owners for woodchuck control.

    What purpose do groundhogs serve on this planet? All they do is tear up property, stay underground and only come out about twice a day to eat.

    I do this every couple of years for a local farmer and the number of critters we snag every time keeps going up.
    They must really like whatever he is growing.

    Hooved critters can be injured by collapsing groundhog burrows. Dairy farmers may be the best to approach. They should be happy to lose as many groundhogs as possible. That's the way it was in the old days, anyway....
