Re: Your favorite gun based on ease of cleaning?
Benelli shotgun. Snake the bore and I'm done usually. No gas system to get filthy.

Re: Your favorite gun based on ease of cleaning?
I can't figure out what's so hard about cleaning any gun. They're made to be taken apart to be cleaned. The hardest one I ever cleaned was a Smith and Wesson Super 1000 Skeet I used to own. It was made by Howa in Japan where they cannot own the guns they make. Mossberg sold it for a while too. The piston had a pin in it that was slightly tapered. If you didn't put the tapered pin back in correctly it wouldn't load the next shell after the first shot.

Re: Your favorite gun based on ease of cleaning?
At my old job I noticed that one of the sales guys had washed his Jaguar.
When I mentioned it, he said, "Yeah, I wash it once a year whether it needs it or not."
Sort of how I feel about cleaning guns. LOLI called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Your favorite gun based on ease of cleaning?
Hard? Not much. But tedious. And sometimes just frustrating. Like taking apart a Ruger mark iii and putting it back together. Especially if you don't modify the magazine disconnect. You have to put the magazine in and remove it a few times, point the gun toward the north star, and say a prayer to Ruger that the tail on the hammer falls into place. Hard? Not really. But definitely not my favorite gun to clean.

Re: Your favorite gun based on ease of cleaning?
Yes, I bought my first AR in about 1987. It was an A2 HBAR. I may or may not own another or so now. For me my guns aren't too heavy and aren't hard to clean. I have a gun bench with cleaning supplies. The powder solvent gets a little strong sometimes but I keep my work area ventilated.
Cleaning a Sturmey Archer AW 3 speed hub is much more difficult

I find the beretta 92fs to be the easiest gun to disassemble and reassemble during cleaning
