By the way, the word “infringe”means “to wrongly limit or restrict (something, such as another person's rights).” In Heller SCOTUS held that the right to bear arms was an individual right. But it was subject to regulation. It is no different that other individual rights like that of free speech and to vote. Like arms, voting ans speech are regulated. I am continually amazed at the venom that is spewed here by some when someone expresses an opinion contrary to their own. Sad.
Many here are real internet bad-asses once they get a keyboard in their tiny little hands.

I was in the military in the Post Korean Era, that was a brief period when this country was not involved a perpetual war.

The 2nd does not say "shall not be infringed except for regulations."

    Santorum is a nut case.

Anyone that listens to him, or gives him any credence is equally insane.

Rick doesn't hold office for years. People didn't support him. Why does his opinion hold more weight than the average 18 year old?

i know, that is why one really has to conscious of the definition of words like infringe. The Framers were as they chose their words wisely. It is OK to not like the affect of a definition of a word, but you cannot change it meaning. Simple fact is that infringe means not unlawfully alter a right. Regulations are mostly lawful altering of rights. You have the right to vote but if you are convicted felon you cannot vote in most states. That is the lawful regulation of a Constitutional Right.
