I'd like to start a thread on methods of, products for, and enjoyment of cleaning.

So I'll start by saying I recently took the plunge on Breakthrough Clean's products and was not disappointed. Worked as well or maybe even better than Hoppe's No. 9. (which was my old standby) Biggest advantage IMO is that the cleaner and lubricants are non-toxic and don't smell at all. One source (which IIRC was Breakthrough Clean's YouTube channel) claimed that it was even certified for culinary usage. This is important to me because I have a bunch of animals including a few birds which are extremely chemically sensitive. I still use nitrile gloves for cleaning because of lead exposure. But I really appreciate the lack of stench associated with cleaning now.
