All deer heads retrieved from the bins will be tested for CWD, and the hunters who submitted them will be notified of the results, likely within two weeks of drop-off.

I guess that is alright if you can butcher the deer yourself and sit on it for at least two weeks until (if) you get the results. Problem is if you don't butcher the meat yourself it could end up costing you. If the deer test positive after the meat is butchered then you are out the processing money and put other meat at the butcher shop at risk. Most people don't have the cold place to hang a deer for a couple weeks before taking to the butcher.
