I had one guy selling .338 Win Mag for $20 for a box that was short one round and another guy wanted $60 for a box. That latter got pissed when I told him it was too much and walked away, fuck him, he's a robber. I have to plot things better though...when I go through and figure out what/where to buy I can't find the FN stand again!

What would be a good price on 30 06 M2 Ball?

Hard to find surplus firearms if anything.

At the shows the mark-up on new guns is usually 10-20% above what you see tagged in a many shops. Good thing about the shows, is that many sellers get more willing to come down on prices the later into the show.

I got my NIB Ruger LCP2 for $295.00 OTD from a shop. At the next show the lowest retail price I saw for the same pistol was $359.00 not including tax and fees

It depends if the .30.06 is US M-2 ball or other surplus. US M-2 ball is commanding .70+ cents a round. Foreign surplus somewhat less. Oddly enough one might find a deal on PPI or some such just now.
