    Default Blue Mountain Shotgun Championship 10/28/17

    Hello shooters!
    With the help of the folks at RTE Targets, the Hamburg Rifle and Pistol Club is hosting an all-shotgun match on Saturday, October 28th. The match will consist of 7, action-packed stages that require some physical movement and dexterity with your shotgun. Stages will include both terrain and bay-style courses of fire and targets will vary from knock-down steel to aerial clays. You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind match!

    Registration 8:00-9:00AM
    MANDATORY safety briefing 9:15AM

    Divisions:
    Semi: Only tubular magazines are permitted. Electronic or optical sights are prohibited. Supporting devices (bipods, etc.) are prohibited. Barrel devices designed/intended to reduce recoil or muzzle movement (e.g. compensators, barrel porting) are prohibited. Speed loading devices and/or detachable box magazines are prohibited. Magazine tube extensions are permitted. Not more than nine (9) rounds total may be loaded at the beginning of any stage.

    Pump: Pump or slide-action ONLY. All other rules for semi apply.

    Open: Speed loading devices and/or detachable box magazines is permitted. Tubular speed loading devices must feature a primer relief cut.

    Cost: $30 per shooter

    Ammo:
    Up to 20 rounds Buckshot
    Up to 30 rounds Slug
    200+ rounds Shot, no larger than 7 shot.

    Scoring: 7 stages. Scoring is time plus.

    This match is limited to 70 shooters. Registration will open on Sunday, September 17th at 8:00PM. Please pre-register and choose your squad at:

    Just a quick update. We have finalized all of the stages and it sure does look like a lot of fun! The round count remains the same, but you better bring some extra - just in case. There are still some spots open, but you don't want to wait too long. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

    Wow! What great day! Thank you to everyone who made it out to the match. The weather was fantastic and it was great to see a lot of folks who were new to our club.
