    If the rest of the parts that need to be found need the inspectors stamps(pretty sure they do- cylinder, grips, etc) then you have an almost impossible proper restoration on your hands. You could find a donor civilian model but that assumes that the frame you have is 100% and the parts fit. Those early colts also had a lot of the springs and such hand fitted. Experienced gunsmiths that can do it properly are tough to find and the new parts to fit just as hard. It can be done if your pockets are deep but it might be best to do what has been suggested. Keep it as a conversation piece or gbroker it and it will sell due to rarity.

    Just make the parts yourself, they build entire revolvers by hand in garages and basements, most of the shit you need could be cut out with an angle grinder. The hardest part would be the cylinder, and I'm sure you could find one that could be made to fit.
