Default Kimber Super Carry Ultra Plus

I'm normally not one to brag, but I got a new Kimber Super Carry Ultra Plus for $849, free shipping.off of Gun Broker. These are usually listed anywhere from $1300-$1500. Full size bob tailed aluminum alloy grip, 3"barrel steel slide.

Nice pick up. I tried hard to carry my compact 1911 but just never made it to the point that I felt as comfortable/confident with it as I do with my striker fired options. I will say though that shooting the compact 1911 at defensive distances yielded the same general accuracy as a full size version. The Kimber should serve you well, enjoy it.

Assuming it's for carry, what holster set up are you going to go with?

Nice buy! I really wanted to like the "round butt" 45's, but they shift my point of aim and the way I hold them when shooting. Just don't feel right. They look cool and carry well, but for me, it's got to feel "right" in my hand.
