If you (global you, not directly to Scott) are a strong believer in "better tried by 12 than carried by 6", what is your take on this (possible) situation of underage carriers? If they were at home and used Daddy's handgun during a home invasion they would be in much better shape...

This was the majority of the discussion on another forum. Requirements for CCW in Ohio include being 21 & completing a course.

I'm certain the robbers made sure they had followed the law on carrying a firearm before they went into that Taco Bell.

Speaking of the age requirement for purchasing a handgun, I thought I read an article about someone challenging the 21 and over age requirements for handgun purchases a while back. I personally don't understand how that can survive a court challenge, especially after DC vs Heller affirmed an individual right to own a handgun.

IMO most likely motivated by money on the BG's part. The TB good guys at least held paying jobs, however menial. Of course the employees could have been using the location as a front to sell from.

I used to deliver Pizza as a kid. After I left the owner was caught selling Coke(not the drinking kind) under the Pizza. They had a code word and a bag would go out with the delivery. I knew the owner was a snake in the grass when he bought the old owner out, but I never would have though he would sink that low.

Irony is they can military up and go shoot people in Iraq and the stan for Uncle Sam. But back home, in some states they can't even buy cigarettes. Let alone buy a pistol for self defense and use it. We live in a f'd up country

I remember when they couldn't vote on who was going to send them to war.
