    Default LEO possible encounter

Was filling my SUV at a local Sunoco, OCing a Beretta 92 Inox.

Franconia Police SUV parked for the convenience store. Out comes the officer. I don't look directly at him, but can see him in my peripheral. I watch as his raises his arm to wave. I figure it was someone in the fill up station next to me. Then I realize that maybe he waved to me. Then I realized maybe this was a very good encounter.

Hard to tell. If he did wave at me, I wish I would have waved back.

If anything, he didn't do anything

Sounds like a non encounter and that's a win!

It's possible he thought you were off-duty, but who knows. I'm with Daycrawler, I'll take non encounters all year long. I don't need nor want a pat on the back for taking on the responsibility of my own safety, like most people, I simply want to be left alone to my own devices.

And this is the kind of inaction that makes the rest of us look bad.
