I think Ayoob has a lot to offer, but I always see some people take it too far to a cult like fervor. The Ayoobites see it as a very clinical and precise process but I believe the reality is different when you are in a life and death struggle and I base that on practical and professional experience. You will have to fight until the attacker is down or you can escape or you will lose. Again if attacked get off the X and create distance.

Oh Yes. Talking state-side non-police related.

    Interesting discussion.
How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

You will not see this very often...but I will quote Dennis (wording may vary):
No plan survives survives first contact with the enemy.

You are actually quoting military scripture.

And more than one side gets a vote.

I didn't claim that Dennis is the original source. I was merely trying to acknowledge the fact that Dennis has said this many times on this forum.

Had I NOT acknowledged Dennis, then people would complain that I was ripping off Dennis, impersonating Dennis, or who the hell knows what else.

But thank you from taking time away from developing various sex and body part/function threads to respond.

After shooting a person, a sane and good person would try to call the appropriate departments to help stabilize the the situation and help all those involved instead of just thinking of himself. After establishing the best image for oneself, only then is it time to call someone to represent you based on that. That protocol really makes the most sense if your innocence will be partly determined by your mindset and your obvious intent.

That's why your mindset needs to be kept simple. Most people here are not combat soldiers taking the objective so if attacked the mindset should be create distance and escape.

With respect to other people, that's pretty much my inclination even if they're not attacking me.
