Re: Urban Survival Weekend - Combat Pistol Level 1 & 2 and Close Quarters Knife
Do you train without one in the chamber like the Israeli's do?
Gotta say, Im not much of a fan of that.
But the rest of the class looks great."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

Re: Urban Survival Weekend - Combat Pistol Level 1 & 2 and Close Quarters Knife
No one is a fan of that. Trust me.
The idea of the class is to expose shooters to something new (actually more different than new). The takeaway from that class has NEVER been - "It is ok to carry empty chamber", it has always been something else.
There are a few aspects of the israeli method - point shooting at close quarters for example, that do appeal to me. Others obviously have different takeaways.
I have taken that class so many times, i just jump right to Level 2. Level 2 is a lot of fun and yes NO ONE carries or trains empty chamber on that day.
