    Default Liberty Civil Defense 9mm 50gr

    Yes, 50 gr. 9mm. Saw this today at a gun shop. 50gr 9mm hollow points, over 2000 fps . Googled ballistic gel test. Fragmented immediately, the largest mass of the fragments penetrated to 11". Anyone try this yet?

    No, but I have tried the Ruger ARX ammo. The 9mm is 65gr, 1620fps. The 380 is 56gr, 1315fps. The Liberty ammo penetration data interestingly seems about the same as ARX gel tests shown independently on youtube,

    I can tell you a pocket 380 or 9mm is a lot easier to shoot well with the ARX. Dunno (yet) about the Liberty.
