Such laws don't exist, so you'll not find them, no matter how much you peruse the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes.
I know its not required to inform, what I was looking for is if you are asked are you required to answer truthfully ??

There is no duty to inform in PA. HOWEVER some counties now can tell if you have an LTCF or not. I got pulled over bout half a year ago and just happened to inform the officer. He was cool about it and let me off on the ticket and BS'ed about guns for a bit BUT he also told me how it shows on there computers now and if I didnt inform him he wouldnt have been as nice...

And just because one happens to possess an LTCF doesn't mean they're carrying/transporting a firearm every time they hop in the family car.

You are correct but once a cop sees that info he is going to be wary and all depends on how paranoid the individual cop can be

    They should always be wary.

    Exactly.

If officer Friendly is ASKING you if you are armed, or ASKING you if you mind if he searches your car- he's trying to develop something because he thinks there is something afoot.
On the other hand, if officer Friendly has already developed enough P.C., he's not going to ASK your permission for anything. He's simply going to pull you out through the vent window and cuff your ass up on the roadside like a circus seal- ask me how I know.

That's why we lie our asses off without a flinch. You don't know which officer you are going to draw in the State sponsored violence/revenue lottery.
There are a few coppers on the forum that I would have no problem informing- because I know (just from reading their copious posts) that they won't overreact and finger bang my 1911 into a negligent discharge on the roadside.

The AVERAGE flatfoot? Not a chance. I have worked with too many that could fuck up a bowling ball.
