Default Legal carrying a gun question

If I'm pulled over and asked if I'm carrying a gun, am I legally required to inform ??

If so can someone post the law . .

You're not required to inform. If they don't ask, you have no reason to tell them.

However if you're directly asked, you also cannot (should not) lie to a police officer. At that point I'd say yes and show my LTCF and keep my hands where he/she can see them.

A lot of members here will disagree and say there's no reason to say yes ever, but that's how I stand.

But to your question, there's no duty to inform in PA/ Other states, like Ohio, you do have to inform.

That's why I posted it, I just mentioned Ohio.

I have not heard any updates but around March of this year, Ohio was talking about scrapping the Must Inform law.

That cop was scared shitless, that's why he reacted that way.

This really happened in Canton, Ohio. The verbal abuse and threats the cop subjected the poor citizen to trying to comply with the law was unbelievable. This shows the magnitude of the down side of informing a LEO when you are not required to.
