That's why we lie our asses off without a flinch. You don't know which officer you are going to draw in the State sponsored violence/revenue lottery.
There are a few coppers on the forum that I would have no problem informing- because I know (just from reading their copious posts) that they won't overreact and finger bang my 1911 into a negligent discharge on the roadside.

The AVERAGE flatfoot? Not a chance. I have worked with too many that could fuck up a bowling ball.
Somebody has to step up - I'll take this one:

    How do you know?

I know because way back in the day, when Saint Peter was a corporal, I pulled plenty of Mopes out the damn vent window.
I'm thinking most of our current readers have no idea what a vent window is or a crank down window or even a HI beam switch on the floor.

I spent more than a few miles behind the wheel of a '73 Super Beetle and an '86 Chevy half-ton, Dad owned a '38 Chevy sedan, and we owned a Rambler and a Valiant in my youth...

Mom's '75 Camaro (1st car I actually drove) had one, and a foot parking brake. So did the '73 Maverick I had for a while

Same kind of switch could be found in any M-151, though for another purpose...

AFAIC the floor is where the damn thing belongs.

67 Camaros are the only Camaros that had them.

My current truck that I own is my first vehicle that ever had power windows.

    Yes it does.

I miss the floor-mounted dimmer. That left foot ain't doin a damned thing and could use some use. Hate the column-mounted windshield wiper stalk too. And the damned door alarm that won't let me work on the car while listening to tunes with the door open. Floor dimmer switch didn't cost much and was easy to replace. The steering-mounted stuff has to be big bucks.

67 Camero, yes I owned one. 327 w/ 4spd. Limewood yellow. Black vinyl roof. Back pin stripe that followed the fender line. Pin strip was factory done real paint not a paste on.
