Re: Legal carrying a gun question
We have had several members here that were more than inconvenienced by informing. I will not inform.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

That's why we often lie.
MOST of the time lying to the cops isn't illegal and you can bet the cop will lie to you without a seconds hesitation.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter

Re: Legal carrying a gun question
Cop was pissed off because the driver didn't immediately inform he was carrying, according to law, except the cop, babbling on and on from the get go, never gave the driver an opening in the conversation to inform the cop.

Re: Legal carrying a gun question
I'll bet that cop behaves decidedely different in various situations with different kinds of people. He found someone he could unload on and the guy keeps enabling it with his justification. The cop is a nut. I would play along with it with it like a Vulcan and get as much of that on tape as possible. The "victim" never once asks if he's being charged with anything. He reacts to the cop like a kid to his dad. The cop probably has some degree of psychological inquisitiveness even though he's a childish asshole and has chosen the victim that he knows that he can drag through the mud. Typical bully... protected by a badge....to a point.

one of the updates from thier site:
the officer was relieved on his duties...

FINALLY: Today the concealed carry related charges against Barlett were dropped after the Prosecution rested its case and the defense made a motion to dismiss, or acquit, under Criminal Rule 29. This is being described to us as a conclusion that the state (or, Canton Prosecutor) didn't make a case beyond reasonable doubt. The judge agreed with that motion and Bartlett entered a guilty plea for being "stopped in the roadway", which consisted of a minor fine and court costs.Last edited by mountaineer1673; August 28th, 2017 at 11:13 PM.
