Because it's Washington county and no one cop cares about anything other then collecting a paycheck.
The neighbor is a real piece of work. Was on probation (still might be) for fighting with her boyfriend. I guess that's what I get for cheap rent.

Empty, I'm not sure if the dog wants to play or what. Why I said I think he might just be curious? I'm not a dog person. Never had one. So it's hard for me to tell.
Also my 2 year old isn't completely innocent. She try's to yell and laugh at him. But that's usually after he starts barking.

A person like this just shouldn't have animals. She just lets them do whatever they want.

Private property? I don't know if the dog is 'at large' until it leaves the renter's property.

If it was me in your place I'd tell the dog owner if the dog continues to be aggressive towards my family I'm going to beat the shit out of it to an inch of its life. So keep your dogs tied up. Then I would carry a baseball bat in plain sight so your neighbor can see it so she knows you mean business and when the dog comes at you whack the ground and call its bluff or have a face off with the dog and beat the shit out of it. Your neighbor was warned and the police have been notified. I have seen what a dog the size of Rottweiler can do to a small child and it's not pretty. You're playing with some dangerous shit there.

Better be a metal bat. An angry Rottie will F most of us up I'd bet in a hand-to-hand fight.
The Constitution does not say that a person can yell wolf in a crowded theater.

Speaking of this. Update. Cops said it's a service dog. Won't and can't do anything about it.

Explain to me what "service" dog is allowed to just roam free and who needs that kind of dog for a "service" dog. My ass.

The rules are no different. Must be under owner's control.

    Running loose is not acceptable.

It's not even acceptable if the dog is friendly. Allowing the dog to run loose poses a risk to the dog too in that it could be hit by traffic, or have assholes throw rocks at it or something.

There was an event last night that happened. Cops showed up. Wasn't me some other mom was pissed that her kid was riding her bike and Something with the dog. I don't know I wasn't out when it happened. I just saw the trooper out there and went to talk to him. That's what he told me. So I walked away annoyed before I said something stupid.
