Re: Gen 5 Glocks Aug. 30
because the Gen5s are only available in 9mm and the 3 pin system was added because of the additional abuse from .40 S&W.

Re: Gen 5 Glocks Aug. 30
I shot the Gen5s yesterday. They were about the same as you'd expect. I think the trigger is truly improved. The biggest thing I noticed was that without finger groves the grip texture is really lacking. I think grip tape or stippling would be a must if I bought one of these.

Re: New: Glock Generation 5
Got to inspect a G 19 5th gen today ! Hate the shiny finish on the slide, dont need an ambi slide saftey stop either, the mag follower in orange just adds to the cheapness of this 5th gen and I do like my finger grooves.i will keep my Gen 3 19 . JMO/MDT

Re: New: Glock Generation 5
My shop has 17's and 19's. Nice looking / feeling gun. I like the non finger groove grip. The new finish is nice I think. Rifled barrel - guess the FBI wanted rifling vs the poly barrel? I am in no way a barrel expert but I have always found any gun with a polygonal barrel is extremely accurate. Guess you can shoot lead now .......
