    I like the looks of these, I have a Gen2 17 and a Gen 3 26 (I like both). I am not sure how the bumps will feel in your hand, but I'd like to hold one of these bricks...

    Are you guys absolutely certain those aren't gen 2s?

    Hard to tell the difference.

    I guess gen3 and gen4 weren't perfect enough.

    The texturing on the sides of the grips screams "Gen 4" not Gen 2. And the slides state "Gen 5."

    This video goes over all the changes.




    I'm not buying one. Only thing I actually like is the lack of finger grooves, dehorned slide, new rifling that is supposed to increase accuracy and the Ionbond finish. The ambi slide stop and the fact that pretty much none of the Gen5 parts (including the barrel) are compatible with the previous gen Glocks is a deal breaker. Why they went back to 2 pin frame is beyond me, its like we went back in time.
