What seems to have been a pattern is that new user identities here and on Facebook are created, and then post glowing reviews about Guardian (or attacks on the detractors), and then disappear from the Internet. Without helping them out here to create more plausible sock puppets, the user ID's fail all of the obvious indicia of troll identities.

I've never been to Guardian, I have no first-hand knowledge of their facilities, their staff, or the owner. But I've seen the weirdness associated with the online activity, the obvious (and inept) attempts at deception, the failed attacks on a mod here based on a news story about an unrelated family (their frame attempts make Adam Schiff look like James Bond by comparison), and I have no trust for the management of the place. That's a deal-breaker, for me personally, when it comes to businesses like this.

Someone there believes that he is the first to discover that the Internet allows people to lie from a distance. This isn't a new thing. We've seen sockpuppets created to attack or defend people and businesses for decades, and when done with intelligence and amorality, it's hard to discern. That was not the case this time.

I haven't finished reading through the entire thread yet, but I know for a fact "TheJudge" is the owner of GTC. The dude is a total psychopath, and as of last year around midsummer was under investigation for two aggravated assaults.

Oh, and he was working on getting thrown out of his military unit for abusing his position. The guy is a total piece of shit.
