For the record, only posting that above bit of information. I have read through everything here and on FB. I'm not judging one way or the other. I have never been there and can't from my opinion regarding their practices. I only know what I read in terms of reviews.
Did you go to CB West?

I've actually been to GTC on multiple occasions. I've shot in the Heavy Bay. I've attended one of their Course Of Fire sessions in the Tactical Bay. I was drawn to GTC because it's the only range near me that allows drawing from a holster, shooting with movement, etc. My personal experience with GTC has been positive. The facilities were state of the art. The RSO's I met were friendly and professional. I did not, however, meet the owner of GTC. I can't speak from experience on how he is to deal with.

Clayton's, Classic Pistol, Ready Aim Fire (RAF) are good places to practice the fundamentals. I've developed positive relationships with the people at those ranges as well. The problem for me is that, in general, they don't want you drawing from a holster, and they don't have the facilities to practice shooting on the move.

If anyone knows of a better range than GTC, I welcome your suggestions. But, until a better option presents itself, I'll continue to take advantage of their services.

My experience is what it is. I've not exaggerated nor withheld anything. If you have had a different experience, I respect your right to share it.

Target World has state of the art equipment and will allow you to draw from the holster on slow nights/if they get to know you/if you take the draw from the holster class. Range fees are nominal too for the area.

I'm a little biased though since I work there.

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll keep that in mind.

I also appreciate you disclosing the fact that you represent Target World, one of GTC's competitors.

If I had my own experience there and it was good I would continue to go there, everyone has their own experiences good and bad everywhere.
