Re: New Range - Guardian Training Center Warminster, PA
Well, we made a second trip to Guardian Training Center, this time with our wives in tow.
Again,very clean, very friendly facility.
4 people, 2 lanes, 1.5 hours time,
1 rented Glock 40 cal with 50 rounds of ammo,
1 rented AR 22 cal with RDS and 200 rounds of ammo
(Armscor ammo... very dirty handling and shooting. The AR FTF several times due to ammo jams)
3 24x36 targets
3 12x18 targets
Total: $140
I aslo shot my Beretta 92A1, Sig P320 RX, and Henry Golden Boy 22LR
All had a great time.

My wife and I are members at Guardian. It's easily the best indoor range we've ever been to. It's definitely not the cheapest range, but the extra cost is worth it, quite frankly.

100% agreed. I use it as more than a range. I try to do an hour or two of the free training a week. The instructors are very good, with a different slant on things, even if you've had prior training. This is literally the only way to get tactical practice on a regular basis in my area.

Re: New Range - Guardian Training Center Warminster, PA
Ok guys tell me is it worth a 41 mile drive one way? My local indoor range is 15 miles or so one way. My outdoor range is closer? While I probably would drive that far to shoot gun shopping is another thing. How are the prices on new and use guns?
Aggies Coach Really ??? Take off the tin foil bro.

Honestly, I don't think it would be worth it to drive 41 miles there. Unless you're trying to go for one of the training nights they have, its kinda out of the way.

Re: New Range - Guardian Training Center Warminster, PA
Went a week or two ago. One of the only ranges I know of in the area that allows bump stocks. Took my wife and two friends and had a blast.
My review:
Upon entering, my first thoughts are "wow this is really, really nice" and "i hope this business doesn't go under anytime soon." What I mean by that is the facility is the nicest I've been to, the proshop area is similar to Heritage guild in easton- very large, and very well stocked. The staff were friendly enough and helpful enough.
The waiver is ridiculous. It's like 8 pages. No big deal though.
The range rates (hourly) I thought were very reasonable- on par with other ranges in the area, such a CP, DVSC, etc.
Upon entering the range, I was blown away. Nicest range I've been to by far. Very clean, very modern. Target system is state of the art- dial in your yardage, and the target flies out very quick and stops with little to no sway. One of my biggest complaints about CP, where I have done most of my shooting, is that the cable-system target hangers take forever to settle down once you reach the range you want. They can also be very finicky at times.
The ranges are well lit, the individual stalls that have clear dividers help ensure safety on the range.
Each range has it's own RSO. I like this idea, but I must say the young man in my range was a bit overwhelming at times. He was trying to be helpful, but some people don't necessarily like unsolicited advice. At one point he came up to "give me a tip on how he loads his AR mags". I have no problem loading my mags. I simply was trying to load them quickly and efficiently, and loading 3 mags takes some time. I qualified expert marksman in the Army with the m16a2 and don't need help with loading mags, lol. So outside of being a bit intrusive, I am glad the RSO's are there. Overall, our RSO was friendly.
I was really impressed with this range and will almost assuredly be going back.
Hope this review is helpful.Genesis 27:3Support Your Local Hawaiian Shirt Enthusiasts

Re: New Range - Guardian Training Center Warminster, PA
I have been to this place a hand full of times, and until today, I never had a bad experience. I have been going to ranges for about ten years now and never felt more disrespected than today. I would love to get in contact with the owner so that I could share my experience. If anyone has that info, please share
