2017 Ontelaunee 3-Gun Match Dates & Information

Ontelaunee 3-Gun Will be holding (5) 3-Gun matches in 2017.
Our matches are held at Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club in New Tripoli, PA

Ontelaunee 3-Gun will be joining 3-Gun Nation as a club member before the April 30th 2017 season opener.
So if you are not a member yet of 3-GN here is your chance to join and get classified.

Match Dates for 2017 are:

March 5th – Preseason (weather permitting) Get to know your gear
Kick the Cobwebs off & New to 3-Gun Match with (5) stages
April 30th – Season Opener (6) Stages Total ((1) classifier)
July 2nd – (7) Stages Total ((2) Classifiers), (300 Yard Range)
August 6th – (6 or 7) Stages Total ((1) Classifier)
September 3rd – (6 or 7) Stages Total ((1) Classifier), (300 Yard Range)
October 29th – (5 or 6) Stages Total ((1) Classifier)

Some additional 2017 match information.

1.) The (4) stage March 5th Kick the cobwebs off match will have (2) stages which are 3-GN classifiers.

2.) We use Practiscore for registration and open Reg up 2 weeks before each match.

Hello Shooters,

The registration for the Ontelaunee 3-Gun match on March 5th is posted on Practiscore and and will allow registration to begin on February 19th.

Just search for "Ontelaunee"

A few additional housekeeping Notes:

1.) The March 5th match has been increased to 5 stages of which (2) stages will be 3GN classifiers.
2.) Yes we will be allowing 3GN members additional re-shoots and division shoots on classifiers after the match for an additional charge of $6.00 per classifier.
3.) Ontelaunee 3-Gun setup is the day before the match, volunteers are always needed and welcomed please see the website for contact information
4.) Those Shooters who want and are qualified to be a Lead Squad R/O, we offer a 50% discount on the match fee if selected, you will see the signup spot on the registration page.
5.) We will post the classifier stages 1 week before the match on the website.
6.) Also the original post noted the September Match to be on the 2nd, this is wrong, the correct match date is the 3rd. Setup will be on the first & second.

Zeros, the match filled all the Sunday slots within 4 hours after registration opened, we thank all that registered and note that the next match will be April 30th.

That's the thing with three gun you gotta be quick to registration. One question. What do you do for no shows? Do you require non refundable deposit?

Currently we don't require payment till the morning of the match, so if you sign up and are a No Show without any notification, you will be flagged with a note in our system. Do it twice and you would go on the waitlist automatically for future matches.

We don't have an issue with those who register and then notify us promptly that they need to cancel, however no notice and not showing up with a repeat will not be taken lightly, we have people on the waitlist and if you are not going to come, give us as much notice as you can, so we can let the next person know they have a slot.

Zero's, if this would be your first 3-Gun match we have an option for you, we hold a New to 3-Gun Intro Safety Check the afternoon before our matches, this is done after setup is completed and we go over the basics and allow you to dry fire and live fire a stage, we then allow those who take part in the Intro safety check to shoot, those of you that did not make the cut for Sunday's match, as much of the match as we can before sunset, the squad sizes are greatly reduced. The match fee is the same because of the Intro.

If this interest you we still have 2 intro spots left, you would go through the normal registration, but just check off first time shooter, note in the squadding would like to shoot Saturday and check off the yes to the Intro at the bottom.
