    Default What kind of round count do you have through your favorite pistols?

    Just curious how much people are shooting and what they are using. These numbers are for ten years, just handguns.

    Glock 17 gen3 about- 40k

    Browning Buckmark- 15k

    Springfield Loaded 1911- 5k

    Glock 26- 3k

    Ruger super redhawk .44 mag- 2500

    My Glock 17 and my Super redhawk are my favorite. Both are a lot of fun to shoot.

    No idea (nowhere NEAR those amounts), but if I had that kind of money, I could afford to move into a better neighborhood!

    God bless you and keep on shooting!

    Being fairly new to pistols I'd say my 1911 and Glock 20 are both approaching 10k. Now my 1100 Remington shotgun by now has probly seen 250k rounds through it. Ive had it for over 30 years. The 1100 is actually order than me by 4 years.

    Bersa UC45 = about 1200 (7 years) BPY=171
    2 Keltec P11's about 200 and 1000 (6 years) BPY=200
    Dan Wesson 15 = around 1100 combined 38 and 357 (2 years) BPY=550
    Charter Arms Bulldog = around 600 combined as above (4 years) BPY=150
    9mm Shield: Around 1200 (3 years) BPY=400
    Radom P83: about 1200 (4 years) BPY=300
    Bulgarian Makarov: 300 (6 MONTHS) BPY=600
    Bulgarian Arcus 94: Between 400 and 500 (2 years) BPY=225
    S&W59 (sold): About 400 in two years BPY=200

    9x19 = 1000 BPY
    9x18 = 900
    38/357 = 700
    45ACP = 171

    I chose to break it down by caliber too. BPY=bullets per year
    I've had 9x19 on me for EDC more than any other caliber and owned more guns in the caliber than any other. If my Bersa wasn't a biter the number for 45acp would be much higher.
    I also only just started shooting 357 and 38 alot since I got my Dan Wesson 2 years ago, and this year I didn't get to the range much. So if I had the time I would have shot alot more rounds in this caliber so far.

    With the right gun 45acp would have scored much higher.

    It's all about priorities. I have a cheap house a cheap car and I reload.

    People keep track of this? I have absolutely no idea. Few thousand combined?

    Why keep track of this information, what's the benefit?

    The main reason would be to keep up with a maintenance schedule.
