I guess I'll just load 10 and top off if allowed.
I also guess optics or irons don't matter in carbine.

We have a squad put together on Sunday afternoon. The same guys I shoot with at the PSA. Shot stock revolver last year. Going PCC this year.

On average, how far are the targets? Looking at videos I'm guessing 15 yards or so.

The rules on mag limits are for Stock Auto and Open Auto. This year they added PCC and made it unlimited rounds in mag and also added Unlimited Open for no mag limit. So the rules have been from past years and this year just for the 2 centerfire divisions unless specifically stated unlimited.

Still debating on whether I want to attend. I heard its a great time and Ontelaunee always puts on a great show.

Yes about 15 yards, but there were some longer shots to the edges of the bay. Plenty of swingers and stars last year. Of course that was the inaugural event, so there isn't a whole lot of history. I believe they are still trying to differentiate themselves from the PSA Shootout and the new classes are part of that.

It is a good time. My only beef is that it is the same weekend as the PSA Rimfire.

We shot this afternoon. It was a good shoot. We had a lot of fun. They ran it really well. Hardly any wait between stages. Wish they would have had some moving targets but overall it was good. I shot to my ability except one stage I forgot 3 targets and it cost me at least 10 sec. I had already unloaded and realized I forgot three. Had to load up and shoot. Probably should have left them. I'm kind of tech retarded. As soon as I figure out how to edit some video I'll post it.

Here's a video from Stage 6. I think my time was 28 sec or so.

    I did it in 17.

Of course I was using a rifle...

It was a fun and well run match. I was surprised there were no moving targets after all the swingers and stars last year.

And PCC steel is the most fun a guy can have with his pants on!
