    Cool Purchased a Benelli M1 Super 90

My local gun store was having a big sale and raffle today, and I managed to buy this during the festivities. I'm currently working on getting a sling and some batteries for my flashlight. $675 out of the door.

Yeah it was a used gun, but it still works great and only has a few scuff marks on it. It was manufactured in 2003.

The 03 and the surefire light seems suggest local Law Enforcement, as that light used to retail for $300+ alone.

Great shotguns and Id love to have one.
I just don't understand with a barrel length that long, why not make the magazine tube longer and hold more rounds?

I was thinking the same thing too. There's some visible scratch marks on the trigger housing as well. Maybe that's where the gun was mounted in police cars? The idea that this gun was used by law enforcement adds another level of cool for me.

    Buy one.

Is yours marked Heckler & Koch?

I got one earlier this year as well. Love it. Cycles slugs, buckshot and high brass birdshot fine...although the recoil from he slugs is pretty stout. I have not tried low recoil slugs but don't anticipate any problems.

I've noticed that low brass Federal target loads cycle fine but the same from Winchester occasionally don't. Both are Walmart specials. The winchesters will reliable cycle if I remove all the ammo from the side saddle on the receiver. The weight for those added rounds must interfere with the inertia cycling with low brass winchesters. Again, low brass Federals work absolutely fine with or without extra ammo in the receiver side saddle.

Mine doesn't have H&K markings. Is the GG&G Tactical Charging handle difficult to install?
