Works great. I've tried a few different cold blues and Brownell's Oxpho Blue is hands down the best.

I just ordered big 45 off ebay - 3 for $16.56 and free shipping from ramblinman211

If you like 4 ought you'll love 5. 00000 steel wool is the bomb. Thanks for the tip on the big45 stuff bought two and some oil. Always buying "different" oil. I got to get some of that bacon smelling oil.

Crusans, show us what oxpho does. I never saw a cold blue worth spit. When you have time, thanks.

Let me remember where I posted it here a few months back. One of the guns I did was a Ballister Molina and I posted b4 and after. I just have to remember where

I had tried Van's cold blue that I got at a gunshow and it was total crap - like wiping blue windshield wash on gun ! Oxpho is incredible. I did a couple other guns, I'll try to post if I can find quick.

Those look really good. I tried several cold blues. Don't remember if I used Brownell's or not. The last time that I used cold blue it was Blue Magic. Fairly easy to use, as I recall, and did a good job for me.
