Seriously how would one tell a repaired one from the unrepaired one?
Apparently the easiest way to tell, will be to drop it while loaded

They changed the link after it was posted. This looks like the correct info. https://www.sigsauer.com/support/p32...grade-program/

Does that mean if you have a house with stairs, you're in constructive possession of an unregistered machine gun?

Could be, a shoestring was a machine gun once upon a time. Please don't write the ATF for clarification though.

Meh, I think I will, after all, I own a perfect pistol, not one of those flawed Sigs.

If you could let me know how painful the process is, I would appreciate it.

After i registered got an e-mail saying ill get another email with shipping details in a about 6ish weeks. I got 2 e-mails end of October. One with instructions one with a shipping label. I think i finally mailed it out the week before thanks giving or the week before that not sure. They said turnaround could be 6 to 8 weeks i got it back yesterday so id say it was 3 to 4. No extra mags just some booklet sticker and a velcro camo P320 patch.

Overall the process was pretty easy and painless, hardest part was finding the time to ship it out and having to be up to sign for delivery when the FedEx guy dropped it off as i sleep during the day as im on 3rd shift.
