The comment on just buying a new one and sneeking it in to the gun safe works too. I didn't have to do that but a friend of mine did. To his wife they were all bad and all looked the same (they are divorced now).

Guys all you have to do is walk out the door with a hard side gun case. Like your going to the range maybe some ear plugs on a string around your neck for added measure. So if you happen to make a pit stop at the gun shop and the empty case comes home full she will be none the wiser.

Or you can just do what I do. Tell your wife look what I got and tell her how good of a deal you got. Then put it away. My Wife sees my gun collection as trips to Disney world. I have gone over my collection with her so she knows most of the current values when I buy the farm. Certain guns go to my Brother and some to my Kid. The rest she can sell for trips to Disney world.

My wife saw me looking at a gun on line, and asked "how much they want for that?
I said Wayyyy too much, I paid less than half that for the one I bought.
She goes When did you buy that? I said Last week. I used some of my gun stash cash
End of conversation
Later on in the month she says,
I need some money for the credit card, I'm low in the savings. I gave her what she needed from the stash cash.
She never asks any more about when guns pop up, as long as I have some for her if she needs to cover a bill
Every once in a while I'll get her some nice jewelry from the cash stash funds
Lately I kind of feel like I don't want or need anything else,

it isnt about the gun or the dinnerwith women it is always about Feeling Valued she asked younthat becuz she is insecure that you want guns more than you want to spend time with her and when you chose the gun you made her insecurities worse teall her you want the gun becuz you want to spend time with her shooting it that mightbwork.

If she's that insecure, she's a pain in the ass in other aspects as well and it's time to move on with your life.
