Gun oil??
Why not use slick 50 or Lucas oil additives?

too thick and attracts too much dirt. lucas does make a gun oil though. looks like tranny fluid

Slick 50 and Lucas are oil thickeners. Look at an analysis of it. All the good stuff that is in motor oil which makes oil work great is absent from the oil thickeners. Just use a higher viscosity oil or grease if you want thick stuff. If motor oil is not good enough for you, Lucas does make a good gun oil.(as do many others)

lucas is an oil thickener...slick 50 is a waste of money.
havoline synthetic 0/20 works fine.There is no greater sorrow than to recall in misery the time when we were happy - Dante.
