    Default Gun Permit Unit Closure and Relocation

    The Gun Permit Unit closed on July 31 and will not reopen until August 21 in a new location: 660 East Erie Ave. In what I can only surmise is typical Philadelphia PD fashion, they do not appear to have bothered to post notice of this anywhere except on a flyer the guards hand you once you've made the trip in to the now closed location at 990 Spring Garden.

    I'm not sure why they've moved and I won't speak on the new location as I am not familiar with that area but the previous location sucked.
