Ever think he's just a kindly old grandfather type? Old folks in my neighborhood while I was growing up were always giving us kids candy , cookies. Many had no kids of their own , or they lived far away. Teach them to say thank you , but beware of bad people. It's a sad shame what this world is becoming.

Kids got molested in back then too. The difference is that these days people understand how common it actually is.

I for one fully support the idea of fortress America. Everyone's home being their castle, leery of all who approach, and ready to defend it at a moment's notice.

When you go to war you carry a minimum of 180 rounds. Smart people carry 210.

In Vietnam I carried 200 rounds, and that was 7.62x51mm ammo (ball & tracer mix).

^^^^^^ This is what I'm thinking but...equally question the old guy's motive, it does sound unusual. It is a shame that what could just be a man's nice gesture has to be questioned, it says a lot about our society today.

I don't see the downside of not having to sit next to some little bastard for 3 hours.
