    Thumbs down Harbor Freight ammo

cans suck. I but some stuff that attracts moisture in one ( six weeks ago ) and when I opened it there was 3/8 inch of water in one of those little water bottles people carry around, I guess the gasket is for dust, etc.

Sure, I use a product called ''damp rid''. I cut what is 16 ounce water bottles and half, and then took a coffee filter and pushed it down about an inch from the bottom of the bottle. I then folded over the outsides and put a rubber band around it. I then put a couple teaspoons of damp rid in the coffee filter, put it in a ammo can and sealed it.

That was in the middle of May, and when I opened it the other day the bottom of the bottle had about 3/8 of an inch of water in.

This leads me to believe that the rubber gasket they put in their is just not thick enough to make a good seal.

If you went to harbor freight and expected quality products, then you must let me know which helmet you wear, to keep from licking the windows.

Any chance it was humid in the can when you started?

I doubt there was enough humidity to produce the quantity of water he found.
