Jeez, I think I would have sped out of there ASAP instead of getting in a gun fight. But yeah I hope the guy who pulled the gun gets convicted and does some time. Gives law abiding carriers a bad name.

No permit required to carry in Alaska.
The corrections officer can see the GoPro camera pointing at him filming the entire event.
He could have been gunned down in self defense, and the shooter would have had a better than even chance of winning in court.
The corrections officer is a fucking moron.
The only way I can see the issue changing is if the ATV riders were trespassing on a private road, possibly repeatedly in an ongoing series of events. How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

First mistake: allowing unknown/unidentified person to approah
Second mistake: not getting the hell out of there sooner.
That corrections officer is quite lucky he didn't mess with the wrong person. I doubt that would have gone too well for him in pa.

That's fucked up! I wouldn't agree but at least I could understand if they charged them both and let the courts figure it out. The fact that they charged Walker and not Braeuer makes zero sense unless this is some form of professional courtesy.
The list of charges against Braeuer could be and should be lengthy!"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." — Thomas Paine
