    Default 1976 Colt SP-1 Rifle.

Picked up a 1976 Colt SP-1 Rifle last week at Surplus City. Mississippi State Police trade-ins. Great shape. $1200.00.
Have been looking for a retro AR......first carried an -A1 in the Infantry. I can live without the forward assist. Nice rifle. Great deal as I have not seen these for less than $1500.00 lately.

Nice partner for the Colt SP-1 CAR-15 I purchased in 1988.

    Happy, happy, happy........

They had two more on the rack if anyone interested.

Phoenix Distributors had several at the last Harrisburg Gun Show in pretty good shape. $1100 or $1200 - I forget. There were quite a few at that show, more than I've seen before so someone must have unloaded a few to dealers? Most were $1,500 ish. I probably should have picked one up

There's some connection between Surplus City and Phoenix Distributors. Surplus City sells on Gunbroker under that name.
