Well, I haven't gotten out as much as I would have liked since picking up the Beretta between work, buying a new house, and getting our old one ready to sell. That said, I've genuinely enjoyed the A400 when I do get the chance to get out. I ended up adding the Briley bolt handle and release right out of the box, as they DRASTICALLY improved the ease of function. Along the way I've also done a stock modification to include finger grooves for better purchase and a Tom Knapp fiber optic sight. Overall, it's a pretty great package for my use. I can now go out and shoot 100 rounds at sporting clays and have ZERO residual soreness or muscle fatigue. So far I've only gotten out to shoot sporting clays 5 times total, but my game is rapidly improving.

1st 100rd of Sporting Clays: 67/100, Mossberg 930SPX Blackwater, muscle fatigue after 80rds, major soreness for 4 days afterwards

2nd 100rd of Sporting Clays: 65/100, Beretta A400 Lite Synthetic, muscle fatigue after 90rds, major soreness for 3 days afterwards

    1st 100rd of Trap: 18 / 17 / 20 / 18, Beretta A400 Lite Synthetic, muscle fatigue after 75rds, major soreness for 3 days afterwards

3rd 100rd of Sporting Clays: 70/100, Beretta A400 Lite Synthetic WITH custom stock, zero muscle fatigue, NO soreness afterwards

4th 100rd of Sporting Clays: 72/100, Beretta A400 Lite Synthetic WITH custom stock, zero muscle fatigue, NO soreness afterwards

5th 100rd of Sporting Clays: 78/100, Beretta A400 Lite Synthetic WITH custom stock and Tom Knapp sight, zero muscle fatigue, NO soreness afterwards

After the holidays I'm hoping to get out more frequently than the once every 5 weeks or so I've been averaging. Practice makes perfect . . .

The sight is easy (see link below), the stock modification, however, is a whole different animal. That took a two-part moldable epoxy, a lot of time and patience to shape, and a Plasti-Dip coating.
