Re: Walmart employee going way too far for one box of .380
So, the knee jerk reactions keep coming...
Walmart gets sued for selling "1" box to a drunk. Said drunk kills three people.
Walmart cards everyone and takes personal information on every sale.
Sounds like a social...ist event.
I don't buy my ammo at Walmart...actually, I don't shop at Walmart, at all!
Don't want to end up as one of those "people" of Walmart gifs...

I've been carded just for my DOB. Just like cigarettes. Not that I look young, just their policy. I was pissed until I seen they just entered the date.

We should start giving the PA Attorney General's phone number when they ask.

Re: Walmart employee going way too far for one box of .380
Harbor Freight used to just ask for a zipcode, and I would always make one up on the spot. Then they changed their POS system to actually validated the Zipcode that was given to them, shortly after that they changed to asking for the phone number. I still refuse to give them one, they always ask "do you get our coupons, if you don't give us your phone number you'll stop getting them". Which is a complete lie of course. One lady in there started to get nasty with me, and then quickly shut her yap.

Re: Walmart employee going way too far for one box of .380
They didn't fail because of that. They were actually successful because of it, and they would never sell their list to anyone. That's part of the problem today, stores today won't promise that, Radio Shack did, and as far as I know, they never did even when they were floundering. They failed because of market changes and having a bunch of little tiny stores scattered around with all the costs associated with it, leases, insurance, utilities, couldn't compete against big box stores that were selling similar products in fewer locations. Each Radio Shack location received 2, possibly 3 shipments per week. That also gets rather expensive when you're talking about 4500 stores.
Now, if you want to really be upset, how about why I will never again step foot inside Best Buy?Rules are written in the stone,

Re: Walmart employee going way too far for one box of .380
The other night in Ephrata, the guy with the key was actually wandering around the ammo case asking if anyone needed help. When I told him no he said he was going to go do something and be back in a few minutes in case I needed anything. He did leave and came right back.
