Yep seen that showed up 1 day after I sent my order into CMP naturally.

If I don't luck out and get one this week might look into that if it is still available.

I think any M1 under $1,000 especially a Winchester listed service grade can't be beat. Sent my order off, hopefully there will be some left when they get to mine. CMP is neat but a pita to order for sure having to be a member, only able to order by mail, needing to be notarized, blah, blah, blah. Fingers crossed !
    Just ordered mine today.

I'm going to get my chance to visit the CMP store for the first time here soon. Hopefully they will have something in stock.

Got my email. Approved and moving from sales dept. to shipping. Approx. time 2-4 days. So far, pretty quick for CMP for sure. I think I'll plan a trip to Ohio on one of my vacations coming up - maybe organize a field trip - lol.

And a second email saying it's shipped and providing fedex tracking number. Wow, they are stepping their game up with shipping. Probably because they aren't shipping out nearly as many as they did years ago !

I hear ya - their prices have definitely gone up over the years - like everything else. But I have not seen a service grade Winchester anywhere for $930 so I wanted to jump on it. Don't think I have to worry about value going down. Just hope it's in as good of shape as my last service grade Springfield from them was !

Well I rolled the dice and as far as a LEAD is concerned I lost.

I got what most are receiving which is a parts put together mix master with CMP wood. Only thing Winchester is the receiver, which is to be expected. Be a good shooter with 1 ME and 2 TE I guess.
