I knew a little about CWD, but I just listened to a really good podcast about it. I highly recommend checking this out. It's way worse than I thought it was.

You really follow this. I read all your posts on it. Some are very detailed but I try to keep up. I was just wondering how you got so involved?

My Grandmother on my father's side had Alzheimer's and the two are very simmilar. All from a prion I believe. Very hard to destroy.

i lost my mom to the Heidenhain Variant of Creutzfeldt Jakob disease hvCJD December 14, 1997, her brother had some sort of fast Alzheimer's type that went fast, (but his wife would not have autopsy after she told us she would), and my mom and her brother mom, my mema, had some sort of dementia. my neighbors mom also died from confirmed scjd, exactly one year to the day before my mom died from hvCJD (an exceedingly rare strain of the sporadic cjd's). i just made a promise to mom, never forget, and never let them forget, before we all do. some tell me, why terry, our fine federal government would not lie to us after our loved ones were killed by a product, they would tell us, well how did that work our for all the dead from tobacco and asbestos? our fine federal friends not only lied for 100 years, they continued to expose and kill, all in the name of industry for decades. still are. so when the feds told me it was sporadic cjd, it just happens, spontaneously, no cause, that was about the time that Oprah showed them mad cows on her tv show, i saw that, and knew right then that's what my mom had, and it did not happen from nothing. i been at it every since, and every thing i said back then, sadly, has come true, yet the oie/usda/fsis/aphis/fda et al are still in denial, still protecting their industries$$$ look, i am a meat eater, prohunt and progun, i hate prions, and i don't want to eat prions, and i don't want my family eating them or being exposed to them, tse prions can kill...hope that helps explain why i do this.....
