I'm sure that if a rifle is mistakenly put on an SP4-113 and sent to the PSP, they just throw it away realizing that it's a mistake. They certainly wouldn't keep that information and enter it into a database.

No! We shant dare ask such a thing!

Maybe the FFL just got bad info and is otherwise a great business!
Wouldn't want to cause him any lost business.

    Or some such horseshit.

Since your post isn't in bold, I can't tell for sure if you're joking or not.

The reason I asked was to see if I knew the FFL personally.

It also could be a case of some new kid answering the phone and not knowing WTF he's talking about.

They actually will send you a letter stating that a SP4-113 IS NOT TO BE USED for long arms. The caps means that the letter is pretty sternly worded and they want you to do things correctly - I know, very early on when I was just starting out (the first long arm I transferred in PA) I made that mistake and the Firearms Unit made sure I knew not to do that again. They don't enter the info into the database but the form does get filed until it gets destroyed. They keep strict accounting of those forms and there are procedures that a dealer must do if they screw up the form. And the screwed up form does get sent to the Firearms Unit along with all the others when you send them in every 2 weeks.

It was sarcasm tied to the current thread about a dealer telling people asinine legal info and as is the case with most of these threads, the choice is to not disclose "who", for some reason.

This is another good example. Would be nice to know who is trying to pull this crap.

There is no database. That's illegal.
