Priests are only human subject to the same idiocities that we all can be guilty of. Just a reason why I dont confess my sins to another human with faults,I confess in my prayers to Almighty GOD 1

A priest driving a Corvette and carrying a Glock?

Either way, the story, as written, makes me think there is more to the story than just a priest pointing a Glock willy nilly at an innocent party.

A thirty five year old priest driving around in a red Corvette, with a Glock at the ready sure sounds like quite an interesting fellow.

The chaplain in my first unit wore Airborne and Air Assault wings above a CIB, and a Special Forces patch on his right shoulder. He did 3 tours in Viet Nam as an Alpha team leader before going to the seminary and rising to the rank of Major. Interesting is an understatement.

Chaplain for my higher HQ (Lt. Colonel) was an avid hunter who carried a WWII bayonet as a tool while in uniform. When he came with us on a range day he made sure to bring a field jacket and hat with no insignia so he might sneak up onto the firing line for a bit. Also quite interesting.

He's just some preacher man, that explains it. People throw the term priest around today. In my day a priest was Catholic.
I guess the Episcopal church pays well.
