Default What's your favorite Clint Eastwood movie.

I just saw an ad for Dirty Harry and thought about how many movies Clint Eastwood was in, directed and/or produced that I really liked. I guess it's a love him or hate him thing with Clint, because I have a hard time getting anyone to sit down with me to watch a good Clint flick.

However, I'm willing to bet I'm not the only closet Clint fan on the PAFOA, so come on, liberate your soul, fess up to being a Clint fan and tell the world:

What's your favorite Clint Eastwood movie?

My favorite, The Outlaw Jose Wales. All the makin's of a good shoot 'em up. A cold calculating man hell bent on exacting revenge on those who killed his family, yet retaining the humanity that made him feel the pain of his loss in the first place. Filled with irony, passion, conflict, one liners, drama and of course, lot's of good shootin'

If you need list as a refresher of Clint's credits, here's a link.

A couple of my favorite quotes from the movie:

Josey Wales: When I get to likin' someone, they ain't around long.
    Lone Watie:
I notice when you get to Dislikin' someone they ain't around for long neither.

Josey Wales: You a bounty hunter?
Bounty hunter: A man's got to do something for a living these days.
    Josey Wales:
Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy.

Union Army officer: Now get back in line before I kick you so hard you'll be wearin' your ass for a hat.

Wow that's a toughy, the man has made so many damn good movies.

If you stuck a gun to my head I would have to say its a toss up between Josey Wales and Unforgiven ... but the list of them I love is a mile long and most are in my DVD collection

OH but for the FUNNIEST Eastwood movie (and a personal fav of mine) .. HAS TO BE Kelly's Heros, what a great flick and Donald Sutherland was freaking hysterical in it.

Stop with the negative waves Moriarity, its a beautiful bridge!

High Planes Drifter and Josey Wales.

High Planes Drifter trivia... Originally they wanted John Wayne to play the Sheriff who gets whipped to death but he didn't like the negative, anti-hero vibe of the film so he refused.

"Kelly's Hero's" is one of my all time favorites! Don't hate me for this but, "Paint Your Wagon" is in my top 10 Clint Eastwood movies co-staring Lee Marvin. No, I'm not gay.

it's a tie between "outlaw josey wales" and "the unforgiven" for me. "unforgiven" was the first time i got to see an eastwood flick in theaters, and one of the few times i got my dad to go with me. a nearly perfect day.
