LC9s is easy to conceal IWB or OWB. Any where from 3 to 5 with a baggy T shirt or a unbuttoned sport shirt over it. Your Cloak Tuck 3 also gives you the ability to tuck your shirt in. All that shows are the clips. Most people don't even notice an open carried gun let alone clips on a belt. The more you wear it the more comfortable you will become carrying.

I wouldn't be re-holstering if there are still any bad guys around who weren't already properly ventilated, just saying. That was also taught in the class I took, along with looking while re-holstering to be DAMN SURE nothing was going to catch the trigger.

And to answer the OP, sometimes pocket holster, otherwise about 3:00 for open or concealed.

    I wear my gov't 1911 IWB in a leather/kydex hybrid just a hair behind 3:00.

It has about a 10-15° cant relative to the belt, and worn deep - with just enough room between the belt and front strap for my middle finger to get in place for a solid grip.

It's worn on a 1¼" belt from https://www.etsy.com/shop/AmishLeatherStore (office is business casual, some of my pants don't have 1½" belt loops). After 2 years, I'm considering something a bit stiffer, but I'm not unhappy with it.

I don't "watch it into the holster" because there's too much of me between 10:00 and 2:00, but my draw and reholster see plenty of practice, so that's not an issue.

It's PA, open carry is allowed. Who cares if someone sees it? I only cover at work (it's tuckable). I can count on just my hands the number of people who have cared enough to say anything at all in the past 4 years, and they were almost all positive.

    My 2¢

If bad guys are that much if an immediate threat ya probably shouldn't be holstering

Damn went to edit and winded up deleting my post.

Yes it works well and i carry a full sized sig p226 9mm with three 21 round mags. Depending where i am will dictate if my shirt is fully unbuttoned or not. I do though buy the shirts 1 size larger as well as getting ones with snaps instead of buttons

I recently got a shoulder holster for my desert eagle 50 but that ones gonna have to wait until jacket weather. Gotta do it just to say i did

IWB appendix when I have my Shield.
Anything else at about 2:00 - 3:00 OWB.
My guns seem to print less when I have them around 2:00.

    3 or 4 O clock.

I've never tried any other position while carrying. Appendix seems like it would dig into my gut or crotch area when sitting.

SOB would dig into the back it seems and cause pain that I already have anyways.

I do actually shift my Shield around a little to sit for long periods. That's the beauty of having a belt clip vs a holster.

For walking around though, it's appendix for me always.
I don't want my gun behind me if I'm grappling with someone or trying to fend off blows or cover my vitals. It's just much closer to where my hands usually are.

In the car, the Shield sometimes goes in my center compartment between the seats. I can open it and be armed in not much more than a second.
