Ohio is a duty to inform state.
Read the laws before you become a blurb on poofa.

Re: ohio reciprocity??
Oh honors licenses from ALL other states for people who are temporarily in Ohio.
Since OH was nice enough to grant such privileges to PA, PA in turn gave OH statutory reciprocity. (no agreement, just a statement that PA honors OH)RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: ohio reciprocity??
Two things to remember about carrying in Ohio:
1) You are required to inform law enforcement officers immediately upon encounter that you are carrying. You cannot wait for them to ask about it. Be prepared for any type of reaction (go to Google to view film of Canton, OH cop subjecting citizen to verbal abuse and threats when the citizen was trying to present his carry permit); and
2) By statute and practice you will run into a lot more places in Ohio where you cannot carry a gun compared to PA. By statute in Ohio you cannot carry in any place that serves alcohol or churches, unless you have permission from the church pastor. In Ohio it seems like a lot more banks post against carrying a gun compared to Pa. I don't like that I can't go into a VFW or American Legion in Ohio while I'm packing, but that's the law.

Re: ohio reciprocity??
If I'm reading this right you can carry in bars as long as you are not / have not been drinking. Not saying I would try it but......
(e) Any person who is carrying a valid concealed handgun license or any person who is an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States and is carrying a valid military identification card and documentation of successful completion of firearms training that meets or exceeds the training requirements described in division (G)(1) of section 2923.125 of the Revised Code, as long as the person is not consuming beer or intoxicating liquor or under the influence of alcohol or a drug of abuse
